Immediate Denture

Village Denture Studio delivers immediate denture solutions in Christchurch through its Prebbleton clinic, alongside a second base in Invercargill, ensuring you leave with a confident smile the same day.

What Are Immediate Dentures?

Immediate dentures are a temporary solution that helps you smile and speak normally after tooth removal. We’ll be right here to guide you through it gently and make any adjustments along the way.

Our Immediate Denture Package – Done Differently

Our Immediate Denture in Christchurch service is designed to make your transition smooth and stress-free. We focus on comfort, fit, and appearance, so you can leave with a confident smile the same day.

Two Sets of
Dentures Included

We provide both an immediate (temporary) denture and a brand new final denture after healing – giving you long-term value and a better fit.

Never Go
Without Teeth

Your first set (immediate denture) is ready before your teeth are removed, so you leave the clinic with a smile on the same day as your extraction.

Aesthetics
Through Healing

The immediate denture is adjusted as your gums heal and shrink, giving you ongoing comfort and function during the healing period.

A Better
Final Fit

Once your mouth has fully healed, we make a second, brand new denture, custom-fitted to your settled gums and bone for a more natural look and long-term comfort.

Immediate Denture in Christchurch for a Seamless Smile

Immediate dentures are custom-made dentures that are prepared in advance and inserted immediately after your natural teeth are removed, so you never have to go without teeth during the healing period. They help protect the extraction sites, support proper healing, and maintain facial shape while your gums and bone adjust. Since they are made before the extractions, adjustments may be needed over time to ensure a comfortable fit as your mouth heals.

Two Dentures, One Seamless Journey

Consultation

Your first visit is a friendly chat where we check your mouth, talk through your options, and explain everything clearly, no rush, no pressure.

Impressions & Scanning

Using modern digital scanning or traditional impressions, we gather all the information needed to design your new smile.

Extraction and immediate denture

We make your dentures ahead of time, so when your teeth are removed, your new smile is ready.

Aftercare

After extractions, your mouth will change as it heals. Swelling goes down and gums shrink, so your immediate denture may need a few adjustments. Don’t worry—we’ll be here to help with all the follow-up care you need.

Once Healing Is Complete

Once your gums and bone have healed, we’ll gently rescan your mouth and do a trial fitting to make sure you’re happy with how your new teeth look and feel before we make the final denture.
